Using this site if the defaults get in the way

What we build in

  • Pages are HTML you can read with JavaScript turned off. The menu uses a checkbox, so it opens without a script.
  • One skip link, one main heading, and visible keyboard focus.
  • Photographs have text alternatives. Decorative logo marks that sit beside the wordmark do not repeat it.
  • Body text stays in a dark ink on paper. Accent colours are for large type and rules more than for small print.
  • If your system asks for reduced motion, the entrance animation and the photo zoom do not run.
  • The layout reflows on a narrow screen. We avoid sideways scrolling as a way to read a sentence.

What we do not claim

We have not commissioned a formal audit, and we do not claim a conformance certificate. Some third-party mail programs will display our addresses however they wish. The cookie buttons need JavaScript; the policy page explains the same choices in text.

If a page traps your focus, ignores zoom, or hides a meaning in a picture, write to [email protected] or call +212 522 260 960. Say the page address, the browser, and the tool you were using. That inbox is for this website, not for a mobile-network fault.

Keyboard

Tab moves through the skip link, the menu, the main text, and the footer. The mobile menu is a checkbox labelled Menu; it does not need a script. Escape closes it when JavaScript is available. On a wide screen the notes list is a disclosure; the same links are also listed in the footer and on the index.

Zoom and language

Text is in relative units and the layout reflows. Browser zoom at 200 percent should still leave sentences readable without sideways scrolling. The language of the pages is English. We do not offer an Arabic or French mirror, so a translation tool in the browser is the practical option, with the usual risk that it mangles a dialling example. The examples are also written as digits, which survive translation better than prose.

Pictures

Each photograph has a text alternative that says what is in the frame, and a caption that says why it was placed there. The pictures are places in Morocco and ordinary scenes. They are not diagrams of a network, and they are not pictures of our staff. If a caption and an image disagree, that is a correction: write to the help address with the page name.
